Hey all - long-time-no-post...

Scrounging through one of Angie's old OT threads about buying gifts for gals gave me an idea. Anyway, I really want to get my wife something Dreamy related. She absolutely loves Fred (what woman, or man, doesn't?)

Anyway, after spending a bit of spare time perusing various online memorabilia brokers, all i could find was signed basketballs, old cards, or floorboards. While i think the floorboard would be awesome, I'm pretty sure my wife wants something to visually depict his Dreaminess' magnificence (his face).

All that said, I'm looking for something like an autographed poster or picture. I'm guessing these are not the most easily obtainable. I'm flexible on price - just want to get an idea what's out there. Otherwise, I may have to go without the autograph and blow up a still from the locker room swag and put it on a 4'x'4 canvas to hang over the bed :jimlad:

Are you local? He's pretty accommodating when asked for autographs. You can catch him nearly every Monday night at Applebee's during the season when they do the courtcyd radio show with John Walters. Just bring your own poster or picture...

Sweet! I'm not local, but my folks live in Gilbert. Sounds like I have a solution!

Does she have the Raygun shirt that says "Our coach is better looking than your coach"? Or even better yet, the "Dreamy" t-shirts that WRNL used to sell--those may be hard to find. I wouldn't mind either of those; as a female I would wear them. :)

I have an autographed picture from him from when he played for the Pacers. I don't think I will part with it though as it is pretty unique.
And I just realized it is addressed to me, so it wouldn't work. I'm glad I wrote that letter to him when I was 10 telling him he was my favorite NBA player!

It's hard to capture Fred's dreaminess...but here's an option for a signed Bobblehead Fred. It's for a fund raiser, so not cheap.

I don't mind the price but I'm thinking it's not a good xmas gift for my wife. I don't know... we love Hoiberg and the clones but I've been told it's not a good gift for a woman. I already bought her clothes so I really don't know what else to get her.

When she has our baby I'm getting her some personalized jewelry so I don't want to get her jewelry for xmas too.
