The guy I was quoting presented his initial point that way, because he was mocking people who said a coach's buyout might be a contributing factor in a school deciding to fire a coach.
After Alarson pointed out he was wrong, I presented his point back to him in the same way. He's since been conveniently quiet.
One person can put an end to this nonsense and that is CMC! If it's not true, come out and say it. If it is true, I guess, remain silent and we will keep guessing it's not true! Not sure what you have to gain by keeping a supposed rumor alive by not saying anything!! Otherwise, it must not be a rumor and there is smoke! If true, shame on JP for allowing this to happen!

He was literally mad he had to give a press conference about it last year because he said he wants to be in Ames and we should just believe him. And here you jackasses are a year later thinking he needs to do it again. You’re like insecure girlfriends.
Which kind of favors the idea that he won't go to a team like the NY Jets.
I'd guess CMC really enjoyed not having all the run around press crap of normal time seasons this year and the scrutiny of that kind of franchise just doesn't sound like him.

We have seen this several times now with CMC. I think the local press for an Auburn or NY Jets just puts **** out there. They get hits for a few days worst case, maybe force a presser and maybe get a quote or mistake out of it.
They have nothing else to do.
CMC has repeatedly said let his actions speak for themselves. I see nothing in his actions that indicate he is leaving or even considering it. I would bet good money the returning seniors asked him and he told them "your ass is mine for one more season".
The Ass Man doesn’t come back if he thinks he won’t get to complete the process.
Lol people connected to the team have already said he’s for sure back. I’d like to think the guys electing to return know he’s coming back as well.
