Every other school was going to give it to the players directly. One of several philosophical decisions the coaches would like changed to be more like their peers.

Like a General NIL fund to be used for all athletes rather than just paying the BB team directly?

If so, I don't have a problem with that. We have to fund NIL for everyone and not just certain people.

Weird that basketball coaches want to keep money from basketball games in the basketball program. I'm sure that at the same time they turn away the checks/benefits they get from the football program on principle, right?
