Well, Kobe got a 330 pound monkey off his back. He won a championship without Shaq. I'm not gonna lie, I've hated the Lakers ever since they beat the Kings (my second favorite team) in the 2002 conference finals (Where it is widely believed Game 6 was fixed). But Kobe is one of the top 10 greatest players of all time.

Yeah, Memphis pretty much got no one. Without Gasol, the Lakers probably wouldn't be a big contender.

Once again, I've had Laker hate since the early 2000s, and it won't die down until Kobe (and Fisher, who was also on the 2002 LA team) leaves.

That '02 Kings team really did get screwed. If you go back and look that those calls, they were truly horrendous.
