Looking for assistance/practice

So I have been building and designing webpages since I was in HS. (Geocities, Angelfire, etc).

I have been seriously considering going into freelance web design/development. However, I don't have a portfolio that showcases my work. I have a few examples of things I have done, but that's it.

So here is where the community comes into play. Do you have an idea or a website you would like created, but don't know how to do it? Let me know, I would be more than happy to create your website (free of charge) in order to gain more experience and to also create my portfolio.

I'm just getting started in some of the new practices so don't expect some out of this world site, but I can develop some great stuff.

Feel free to reply in this thread or shoot me a PM with your ideas and I will work on them for you.

I have a fantasy sports group, we play baseball and football and we talked about developing a website for our group. We weren't sure on how to do it or what to put on it. Thoughts? We are totally inappropriate.
 
Reading the title & knowing your day job, I was a little concerned as to how you wanted us to help you "practice"...by setting fire to my house? ;)
 
A page that aggregates calendars from other sites to come up with local things for parents to do with their kids.
