Lol

While I think we HAVE to win that game if we are going to compete long term in the B12, that was a very good UNI team. That QB is tremendous. I think if we take away a few of our mistakes, we win by 14. Campbell is heading us in the right direction. We have to be patient. We make a few better decisions and throw the ball to Lazard about 6 more times, we will win in Iowa City. Book it.
Didn't know you had an account, Coach

Not sure what QB you were watching...because UNI has a QB that can't throw a forward pass. UNI was horrific tonight.

Hope Iowa does not run up the score on us.

I wouldn't say that at all. He isn't a great thrower, but he is a great runner....which is tough for any college defense.

First off, that WAS NOT a good UNI team. Second, The QB was nothing special IMO. We simply could not stop the run. Take the last play of the first half, for example.
Everyone in the stadium knew who was going to run that ball, and we still couldn't stop him. Iowa can and will run the ball consistently, because we proved tonight that we cannot stop the run.

It's not rocket science if you watched the game.
Didn't watch the whole thing (as your network is an actual embarrassment and even though I'm a Hawk fan, I feel bad that you have to put up with such an embarrassing TV situation) but what I saw was an O-line that couldn't even allow a pretty good running back to gain 3 YPC against an FCS team at home... That won't be fixed by next week.

Back to the TV thing, those commentators were also jokes. Was that Sage Rosenfels explaining to the audience that it was important for ISU to stop UNI from getting the 2-point conversion because it would allow for an ISU TD to win the game? I wanted to pull my hair out listening to those idiots, and that's not even me being an ***hole

Those guys are great, so yes, you are an *******. And you just admitted to not watching the whole thing so how would you know?

UNI is a good football team. That QB is a gamer. He can run which throws every defense into a frenzy. Lanning struggled but will be better with another game of experience.

Losing to an FCS school at home is absolutely unforgiveable. So yet another year of dumpster fire football. I don't give a **** if they are young, it's a new coach, blah, blah, we are in a power 5 conference, we deserve better.

Sage was pretty awful. He was trying way too hard to make the program sound better than it currently is.

So what was the worst part for you?

1) QB play?
2) Lack of rushing (at least we knew OL would suck going in)?
3) Penalties?
4) Beyond questionable coaching and game management ( how do you call a time out immediately following an opponents timeout because you are unorganized, or better yet, sending the 12th guy in late for the kick off?
5) All of the above?

For me the worst part was coming to this site and reading a bunch of posts by a bunch of upset fans immediately after the game. We are Cyclones. We have lost games once or twice before, I believe.

I'm going to pistol whip the next door knob who uses the "That was a good UNI" team as an explanation of why we loss.
