Leaf blowers Gas vs electric

Plus gas powered will likely quit after about 50 hours. my electric has so far lasted over 20 years.

You obviously do not own a Stihl leaf blower.

And my lot is only half an acre or so and I do not have a gardener.

BOTH! The answer is both. As I type my neighbor is out blowing leaves. He has a backpack gas blower in his right hand and a rechargeable electric in his left hand. Double barrel action! That is just crazy.

I just purchased this leaf blower last month. Definitely worth the price tag. Super easy to start, no mixing gas, and is very quiet!

Makita Leaf Blower

I've had this one for probably 5 years. It's been great. Starts easily,fairly quiet,doesnt stink,plenty of power. I change the oil a couple times a year and run the gas out of it before winter ((last gas fill with sta-bil).

Went with Stihl . 2 Year warranty and 200 bucks . Never found a Stihl product I didn't like and I supported the local small business .

For those looking at Stihl in the Des Moines area, I would highly recommend going to Kempkers in Grimes to purchase and for service. They have been top notch.
