Lazard on Packer roster

One of the worst I have ever seen. All he did was threw the defender's arm off of himself and the dude went flying. He was done dirty.

The Packers should have challenged that. I know very few of the pass interference calls/no calls have been reversed, but the defender VERY clearly just fell down (or flopped, one of the two).

Edit: 2nd look makes it seem like he just lost his footing and fell. It is snowing.

Coaches won't challenge PI anymore unless it's absolutely blatant because it's just a waste of time and a challenge. I think I heard somewhere that PI calls being overturned happened 8% of the time, which I think is around the same rate of recovering an onside kick.

AL vs. Carolina: 3 catches for 27 yards with a long of 19. He had a weird day in the area of pass interference but in general, he is establishing his value to the Pack.

The "studio ref" just agreed that it was a good call, so screw that guy.

I agree it wasn’t PI. But that is exactly why you do not waste a challenge. If one person on earth could see how it could be PI... they are not going to overturn it. I don’t like the call but I honestly like the way the league is handling the PI review process overall. Do not overturn the call on the field unless there is a blatant mess up like we saw in the playoffs last year. If you start over turning every incorrect call then every pass play would be reviewed. If it is possible for the call to appear correct in full speed, leave it alone. The rule was not meant to perfect a judgement call it is to make sure that the most egregious penalties (tackling a player trying to make a catch) are corrected.
