Lard Transferring

Guy averaged almost a double-double as a freshman playing in one of the best conferences in the country and there wasn't a role moving forward for him on a 9-9 team? Damn, thats some lofty expectations of a player.
You are talking to a Lard-stan here. But the writing was on the wall dude. Cam wanted more but couldn't meet the standards put on him by this staff (it is on Cam if he chooses to go to AJ's ultralounge on a Tuesday night of game week when it's known players aren't allowed in bars). It is what it is now, and we have Jacobson Conditt and Solo back. This is not that huge of a blow in the grand scheme of this program imo.

I have to say if Conditt doesn’t beat out Jacobson I’ll be a little disappointed.

Assuming we don’t play 2 bigs. Wait what...

Are players not allowed in bars during the season?

He's the only big on the roster capable of consistently defending well and rebounding in the paint. I'm not worried about Prohm finding minutes for him next season.
I'm more worried about Solo's health. From the sounds of it that injury was pretty damn serious. We'd hope that all the time he has had off will help, but sometimes its a mental hurdle you have to jump.

I hope he is back to his old self because he is a great role player that every good team needs, but I am not holding my breath that he'll be his old self right away.

Lets hope Solo doesn't have any lingering health issues next year, if he cant go 100% or isnt the same player he once was this team is going to have major frontcourt issues again.

You dont suspend guys, have them do their time, then hold a grudge against them the rest of the year. They either play or they dont. What he did with Lindell this year was just wrong on all levels.

Lol what? Lard just played the most minutes of any big in the NCAA Tournament and was in foul trouble. Lard earned his playing time and his time riding the bench

What did he do to Lindell?

He isn't a very good rebounder. I think Conditt improves and him and Jacobson's other skills surpass Young's. Not only that but he had a really serious injury on his groin and is also having shoulder surgery.

I hate seeing him leave and wish him the best. I hope wherever he lands he can shed the "this guy always fouls so let's call a bunch of ******** fouls on him" label.

Good luck Cam.

I don’t think that is the label he really needs to shed.

I hope he figures it out. He obviously wasn’t doing that here.

Hope it works out for Lard like I do any college kid finding their way. It appears like Prohm put a lot of effort into trying to get it to work out, but just couldn't get through. This seems like a story that 20 years from now, Prohm will bring up as something he regrets that he just couldn't accomplish.

Lol, are you this dense? Hmm, I cant imagine why there were chemistry issues when the more talented players have to sit on the bench and watch other guys play the first 6 minutes of each half. It would be one thing if Lindell had some behavioral problems, but the kid had an injury, he should have been back in the lineup in early January.
