Kysen Terukina just signed with Iowa State. Younger brother of former wrestler Shayden Terukina. Ranked #95 overall on the Flo big board, but he has a ton of upside. Very good late addition to the class!

This “room guy” is ranked #52 on InterMat. Only losses I can find were to #8 McNeil & #16 Mastrogiovanni. Has wins over Reyna (IA recruit), Munch 2x and Slyter the past couple of years. I doubt if he has had the best training situation so it will be interesting to see how he progresses after a few month in the room.

Reeves is a very small 125. No chance he wrestles 133. Lucky if he grows into 125.



I guess if we are saying what a wonderful job they have done with #83 Jarrett Degen what about the job they have done with #11 Gomez, #23 Colbray, #45 Shapiro, #67 Gremmel, #78 Coleman.

There are 80 AAs every year which combine 4 separate recruiting classes. The simple math is that only the top 20 recruits are your sure fire AAs. Gremmel being a top 12 guy is outpacing his recruiting ranking. Colbray was seeded 13th which is exactly where he was seeded. Gomez has had one season where he was R12, but beat multiple AAs in Desanto and Bridges.

The only guy on that list you could argue that maybe underperformed is Shapiro, but he was also only a freshman and undersized.
