This is huge. I think we’ll look back in a year or two and think, wow, Kyle staying was a huge difference maker. This young man can easily win us a couple games a year and could be the one that tips the pendulum for JFR to keep building something great here in Ames.

He's 100% going to declare for the draft after next season. Hard to find people that can make 63 yard field goals with an extra 5 yards behind it. His leg is almost as powerful as that Jags kicker.
So does Konrardy make a giant leap forward and join the exclusive club that hasn’t admitted anyone since Seabass a quarter century ago?

49ers drafted Moody and cut him just twoish seasons later.
The best kicker currently in the league is Aubrey. An UDFA, former soccer player. Teams have learnt their lessons not to draft a kicker, especially early.
Obviously I’m being somewhat tongue-in-cheek suggesting Konrardy will be a first rounder (or hedging so I’m not mocked for my optimism?), but don’t the majority of first rounders fail to get resigned by their drafting team?
