KU vs Somebody Diallo's first game

That quality beat depth two out of three last year, probably will again. Depth wasn't the reason ISU lost at TT last year, nice try.
We'll see soon enough. I like what KU brings to the floor this year. Does it guarantee anything? Nope. Should be a fun battle once again.

I'd give ISU two of three every year if it meant KU won the Big 12. I think we can both be happy here. KU will continue to hang Big 12 Champion banners and ISU can hang "We beat KU two out of three times!!!" banners.

We can both be happy, I'll take the better team and let the trophies work themselves out

Being worse than ISU doesn't bode well for KU, but to each his own I guess.

That's an interesting take, haven't heard that one before. How was his attidude poor? He didn't get a lot of minutes his first two years behind the Morris brothers but he never moped about it. When he got his chance as a Junior he led KU to the National Championship game (and obviously a Big 12 Title).

Yeah - you stopped your chronology at juuuuust the right time.

I've heard that somewhere before.

You probably picked the wrong KU guy to target. Bash on the Morris twins and we'll join you; they are idiots. Bash on the guy who lost every adult that meant anything to him within a matter of weeks while he was at KU but still managed to buck up and lead his team to a national title appearance while dealing with what he had to handle won't be received as well.

Except of course in their records vs. an identical 18 game schedule.

KU was better at staying awake in Lubbock. They weren't a better basketball team.

Nothing clearer than head to head when there is a 3 game series with a home game for each and a neutral site.

How then would you describe ISU vs. Baylor?

Whatever determination you use to determine that is on you. The Big 12 views it differently. It's a new year and two new teams. We'll see how it all plays out.

Why would you use the transitive property when the teams had a 3 game series head to head? Maybe because the best way to decide who's better didn't favor KU?

No, I just want to hear you be consistent. If ISU was "clearly better" than KU for winning two out of three, then how would you describe ISU-BU. Presumably it would be something more substantive than "clearly better". Maybe "Baylor was exponentially better than ISU?"

Keep spinning and trying to distract from the topic, 44 might be buying it. A head to head series is the most accurate way to figure out which of two teams is better. Have you ever heard of playoffs?

ISU was a better basketball team than KU in 14-15. I know it's an uncomfortable truth for such an arrogant fanbase but it's the truth no matter how much spin you put on it.

So again, Baylor must have been better than ISU right? Don't be a hypocrite, now.

Why would I think otherwise? Would be pretty dumb to lose to a team twice in a season and still think they're worse, am i right?

So to summarize your position:

ISU was clearly better than KU (ISU 2-1)
BU was significantly better than ISU (BU 2-0)
KU was exponentially better than BU (KU 3-0)

Fair?
