Do they lower the prices on tix as the game approaches, like a dutch auction?
Or will they just not sell them and eat them? How do they manage that?
Im not sure they will from University. The secondary market will come down. But the tickets are set way higher from KU for this game than any of the others. Lowers between the 20s on the sides are set at $260! From KU, not resale.

ISU sometimes offers deals etc like the buy 4 for $160, but individually the tix still have the set price of $85 face value.

There are a LOT of unsold tickets right now. And then on top of that there are quite a few resales.

But the price for ISU game is insane considering they are almost giving away the tickets for the other games.

They trying to gouge ISU fans because we show up.
Colorado tickets are also fairly high compared to the other games but still quite a bit less than ISU.

I don't understand why there is a section in one of the lower level corner and one of the upper level end zones that are completely blanked out.

How many fans will we have in Arrowhead? 15-20k?
If we are still undefeated I would hope at least.

If its an afternoon game a lot of people could pick up tickets and drive down and back instead of staying the weekend. Which could mean once the gametime is announced more people will jump in.

But we will see, them finally being unlocked is the start. And there are A LOT of available tickets.

I assume one of those is considered the student section. Some of the other may be ISUs visitor allotment, that wont show on Ticketmaster etc, unless ISU releases them as unsold.

KU students/band are 127-134.

Safe to assume that the majority of ISU's official allotment is somewhere in 306-313, with a small percentage in a 100-level corner.

Iowa State sold tickets to this pre sale away games. My guess is they sold 5k or more already thru ISU that may be the big area not for sale because Iowa State sold those tickets already.

We have rooms booked but no tickets. Have been watching for over a month as we have chiefs season tickets. Going to both games. The lower seats that have been locked are now gone. There is no chance they sold those. Some seats have sold. We may splurge on club seats as our chiefs tickets are in the lower. In hold mode.

It’s possible that all of the locked tickets sold. There were so many Cyclone fans freaking out about tickets that they may have went and bought as soon as they opened up.

Holding is still the best option

There are two large areas in the upper deck with no tickets listed for sale which seems to indicate that they haven't even been released yet. Are they going to leave empty much of the upper deck on the KU side and in one of the endzones?

Not surprised. I still question if there is a window for TV at 11 AM, and if not, the networks will agree to let this game fall to ESPN+, especially if KU wins this weekend. I think we can throw out any thought of it being a night game, but 2:30 is probably not off the table.

Even the secondary market is way high for lower level. May as well buy directly from the stadium listing. For example, Section 136 sells retail at $260 and on StubHub they are listed at $400. Seats in the corner at the 10 yard line on Stub Hub are $249 and retail are $160.

Right now it is a huge game of chicken. KU season ticket holders trying to get an arm and a leg hoping ISU fans blink first and ISU fans hoping those ticket holders blink.

My issue is we are trying to get 12 tickets together, so I'm not sure how risky it is to get that many right beforehand
