KU should just move the games to CPKC Stadium.
Probably due to the contractual agreement that states KU has control over the tickets until some date closer to the game. The reason why the others are open is because there is little demand for those games and they are desperate to fill seats.
FYI.. a Super 8 is NOT a resort!!
And they've been that price for a number of years too. Honestly long enough I'm surprised they have raised it.
And of course the KC Chiefs have a Noon kickoff game the next day on Nov 10th.
I am driving down Friday after work and we plan on going to the game on Saturday. My wife then is wanting to fly from KC to Tampa on Sunday morning to see Brock play. Then we fly back Monday morning and drive home.
So we should at least not get a night game. Hoping for 1 or 2:30.

Our game time has zero connection to the Chiefs game time. The big 12 slate that weekend is pretty weak but there are two pacific timezone games that could potentially slot later. But it’s really about eyeballs and right now we’re the sexiest girl at the dance.
I mean I wouldnt say $50 is that high.
Our public grass lots are $25, and I would guess will go up the way they sell out way early. Our paved parking takes pretty much $750 donation on top of pass price to get anything.
For an NFL game I really dont think $50 is that outrageous. I just wish the Uber situation was better because I would do that instead of driving to the stadium. But from what I have seen/read it is not great.
My guess is that the Chiefs will pull some strings if they need to.
If it's an 11am kick I'm toast. We're riding the Gridiron club bus down & back from West Des Moines. Gonna have to get up at OH stupid thirty to catch the bus for an 11am kick.
TV networks don't care about the Chiefs and their stadium issues. They care about commercials and viewers...
I was at the Ohio State vs Georgia CFP a couple of Januarys ago in Atlanta.
The game finished after Midnight and was obviously a much bigger production than ours.
We then went to the Falcons game the next day for a 1pm kickoff.
They turned that stadium over very quickly
