Really sloppy start. Jayhawks will struggle to score points at times this season. Look very beatable.

Eyeballing it, I haven't been impressed with much out of the Big 12 so far, even though there'e something about the conference having the toughest schedule overall or something.
South Carolina keeps getting pushed as an average team, and I think it's odd that they lost early games, but I didn't see any reason why they wouldn't do just fine in the Big 12. Same for Maryland fwiw.
Aside from just having a nice season, it may come down to being really important for ISU to finish in the top 3 or so.

Ha, OK. I'll file in and and only be surprised when teams from the Big 12 lose to other conference teams.
Are you drunk? Top-3? A top-7 finish in the Big 12 still probably gets you in. Maryland would do well in the Big 12. It speaks to how good the Big 12 is that making that comment about a top-10 team is even needed. When you have only 10 teams, having 8 or 9 competing for the tournament, including 2 or 3 that are top 10, is a lot tougher than coming from a 14 team conference.
The Big 12 is by far the best because it has as many top teams as any conference, if not more, and no bad teams...not because it has handful of teams better than anything you've ever seen.
