Agree. And if Jackson was just a little bit better passer (he's good but not great), he'd be almost unstoppable. The coaches, players and writers, the guy is an amazing physical player, but he has one major hurdle that he cannot overcome, Patrick Mahomes. Love Purdy and what he is doing with SF, but Jackson has nowhere near the level of talent around him on offense that Purdy does and its not really close. The guy has one WR in Flowers, looks like a couple TE, and no one knows about Henry, the guy has a lot of wear and tear on his body.
You don't win MVP twice in the league and not be a special player. 11 players have won the award at least twice, seven of them are in the HOF, Brady will be so will Rodgers and Mahomes, that is 10/11 in the HOF, Jackson will get there if he continues at this pace. He needs to win a SB to insure it, but even without one I would guess he will make the HOF at his current pace.
I think he will eventually get a ring, in a game where everything comes together for him (playoffs too). He needs to stay healthy though, which is always a factor with running QBs.
If the SC joint was subluxed or dislocated, the right move would be to have corrective surgery. They probably could have saved a couple of weeks by recognizing this sooner. It didn't look good when he injured it so I'm not terribly surprised. Probably looking at missing at least half the season now.
Not a good look if the players are giving a very low score to theI don't know enough about Hollywood Brown situation but hope medical staff didn’t botch this by not properly recognizing severity earlier. comes after Van Noy's comments and about the lowest graded staff in NFL via the players report cards.
To be fair, often the medical staff has to wait for most of the injury swelling to subside, before making judgements.I don't know enough about Hollywood Brown situation but hope medical staff didn’t botch this by not properly recognizing severity earlier. comes after Van Noy's comments and about the lowest graded staff in NFL via the players report cards.
Yep, his biggest strength as a QB is his legs and like all QB's that have the trait, they are going to get hurt and slowed by age. His ability to run the ball has to scare the heck out of the defensive coaches opposing him. KC would have multiple sacks against most QB's with the pressure we were putting on him, but he does a great job of avoiding them and getting yards. If he had Mahomes's passing ability he would be equal to him, but without that he is down there with Allen and Barrow'sWould never wish ill on any player, but I am positive that if he runs as much and as hard as he did in the Chiefs game, no way he won't be injured at some point this year.
Reid’s clock management at the end of the game was laughable. He needs someone to simply call timeouts and make other clock related decisions.
Need to give the rookie LT a little more help when going against a DE like that.Ugly game. Mahomes needs to figure out this defense. He was not good today for the most part. Hopefully Pacheco is not seriously hurt
Gotta give this credit! One of the best catches off all time, and it was an INT of pretty good Mahomes throw.Mahomes did not play well today, and the team still won, the Bengals do a great job not allowing them to use their speed and get deep. The one INT was insane, but the bottom line is their are 2-0 and have the tie breaker over both the Bengals and Ravens.
