Justin Reid kicking for a bit was kind of cool. Thank God H.B. is okay. I'm not I've ever seen a kicker roll his ankle on a kickoff before.

Had to listen to Mitch on the radio today as was driving while the game was on. They were pretty fired up with Reid stepping in for kicking duties then when Butker came back in for the 54 yard FG Mitch really was pumped up about that kick. I love listening to the Chiefs radio broadcasts when I can't catch the game on TV as they really do a good job calling the game.

Crazy how that played out in week 1 already after they were just messing around with it in preseason and camp. Definitely a luxury to have a guy like that to come in and do some kicking. He did miss his 2nd PAT which led to the Chiefs going for it on 4th down then for 2 on the next TD drive.

Like how this team came right out of the gates strong in week 1. Offense is going to be a lot more versatile this year with spreading the ball around more in the passing game. Karlaftis already looks like he will be a factor too getting some good pass rush penetration and Dunlap got a sack in too. Lot of rookies got some snaps too including 2 of their 7th round picks.

They went for it on 4th & 2 at the goal line. The missed XP came after that TD. And their next TD wasn't until the second half, by which point Butker had already kicked a 54 yd FG. Butker kicked (and made) all the XPs for the last 3 TDs.

Sounds like Reid is blaming the turf in AZ for both McDuffie and Butker's injury. They better get that fixed before we play there again in February.

It was crazy how much that turf gave way on the Butker kick. That field must be crap because it looked like was after a heavy rain.

Arrowhead really is an elegant looking football stadium. I know that might be a weird description, but it really is a nice looking ballyard

Looks even better since they threw some natural turf in there.
