NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

The thing I hate the worst about the Chiefs, are they play games like today, get a big lead and then instead of piling on to crush all hope, they start to coast and let the other team back into the game.
For some reason they just do not have the killer instinct to put teams away and stomp on them.

10-3 with 4 games left, when we should be 12-1, with only the loss to Buffalo.
It happens. But the mental lapses are killing them this year.
That’s what a lot of the TOs are is just a mental lapse. Not concentrating etc.

And they were just talking all week about they need to value the ball more.
Yeah, at this point I have seen enough of these sloppy losses of focus that I don't expect them to make it to the Super Bowl. I'm just not convinced they can just flip that switch in the playoffs and stay on through the entire run.

Man, lucky to win that game.
Defense again having huge issues. At what point do they replace Spagnola?
I don’t know how they keep turning it over and winning games.

WTF was Mahomes doing? They have just been super sloppy and not dialed in.
We're so undisciplined in the secondary and special teams continues to be worst I can remember. I can't see us beating Cincy or Buffalo at this moment. Dolphins and chargers are potential bad opening round matchups too.

You can’t keep making that many mistakes and expect to beat good teams. Trading Fenton away seems to be a mistake. The rookies are struggling. I don’t know why Pacheco runs it out ok KO because it seems like he never goes anywhere.
Butker isn’t reliable and that’s going to hurt in the playoffs.

10 penalties, at least 3 on 3rd and long that gave Houston a first down, missed extra point and a field goal, throw in 2 fumbles, and we were lucky to win.

The Chiefs are playing a lot like ISU did this season, they dominate the stat sheet, but have turnovers and missed scoring opportunities that allow the other team to stay in the game and win in the end.

-6 on turnovers for the year, we continue to drop passes that should be INT's. Again, a lot like ISU this past year.

I don't mind the target kind of being taken off the Chiefs' back (and rightfully so the past few weeks). Everyone is now BURROW! ALLEN! HERBERT! All great...and all can win a Super Bowl this year. But I wouldn't want to mess with a KC team that is getting downplayed even a little bit come playoff time.

The unsportsmanlike on Kelce
Was so dumb.
He hates the Chiefs, especially Kelce. That's why you can lay on top of him, push his head in the ground, and he gets the penalty.

Kelce called him out after the playoff loss years ago, IIRC against the Steelers.

Since then, KC has something like only a .500 record when he refs them.
