NFL: Kansas City Chiefs Thread

From what I read; if they cut MVS after this year it costs them 2 million but saves them 12. Assuming he is done after this year hopefully
Yeah, that appears to be accurate. He wouldn't cost much to cut.

Just how many times are the Chiefs going to allow Browning to move to his right, and then either throw it late or run the ball. He has done it the entire half, overload the right side of their offense and force him to either scramble to the left or take a sack.
Cincinnati has figured out the Chief's. take the clock down before every snap, no turnovers and let the Chief's beat themselves with turnovers, dropped passes and penalties.

This defense can be dominating at times. Been a long time since that could be said about KC. I think it was the '95 defense that didn't give up a 2nd half touchdown in like 8 straight games.

We're much better sending 5 or 6 imo than playing base. Great adjustments by spags and staff after awful 1st half

Ok. If we want to avoid the Bills don’t we want them to beat Miami?
Bills are toughest matchup but I think it's almost better to play them right away at home. If the goal is superbowl which is not probable with this team. If Bils win next week probably means miami at home then at Buffalo. I think I'll root for miami and hope we get hot but I'm not confident

I agree. But also, if the Bills lose what are the tie breaker scenarios? Could they end up the 7 seed?

I hadn't looked until now but they're actually much closer to not making it than I thought. If they lose at miami next week and pittsburgh wins at Baltimore who clinched 1 seed today the Bills are out completely. I think the whole AFC needs to root for that.

I think this is best. We would play the winner of the Colts- Texans in the first round or the Steelers if this happens (assuming the Jaguars win). If the Jags lose though, I think we would face the Bills - I guess it would depend on the tie breaker between them and the winner of the Colts V Texans.

NFL hasn’t released all the scenarios yet.

I guess it makes sense, the Chiefs are locked into the 3rd seed no matter what happens between the Fish and Bills, so you might as well rest as many players as possible to get them ready for the playoff game at Arrowhead the next week.
Reid is typically great in bye weeks I feel like this is essentially that

The last few years Mahomes and Co have really turned it up in the playoffs, and I would like to see them do that here, but man it just feels like there is so much wrong that its going to be hard for them to do that this year
