Kansas City...Big 12 Run, etc

I went on Friday. My wife, 2 older kids, and a baby that was just born on 2/10/17. Got super cheap $25 tix when KU got beat. Heck of a time.

I love KC, I'll be back this year, but honestly have no desire to go to every game. That's just a crapload of sitting in the Sprint Center. I'd rather hang in the P&L when ISU isn't playing.

I think most people don't. But I'm just wired a little differently. There's nothing more fun than watching a bunch of basketball in a row. That's why I'll happily sit for 6 NCAA games whenever I get the chance.

I'll try not to drag this into a troll job but you honestly enjoyed watching the McDermott years?? K-Jax ruin Cyclone wrestling? Rhoads blow 4th quarter leads and never develop a single player?

I love Iowa State as much as the next but I'm not delusional with blind support. I like to see continued improvement, effort, heart, and an optimistic future from every team in the athletic department

I don’t enjoy losses any more than anyone does, but I always look forward to the next game.

Hahaha get off your high horse.. Please entertain us with your ratings system of fandom
Games like WVU may not have been worth his time, but worrying about Cyclonepride’s fan code of conduct definitely is.

Most here understand one can view watching those disasters as a waste of time while still looking forward to the next game. Many of those that disagree with the “waste of time comment” have resorted to nihilism in the past.

I love college basketball, but not a chance I'm sitting in the Sprint Center for OU/WV. I'll probably go to a couple quarterfinal games, the semifinal games and championship. Hopefully the Cyclones are playing.

"Baylor's Makai Mason (foot) is questionable for the Big 12 Tournament, per Scott Drew. Bears play Iowa State on Thursday in Kansas City."

Wasn't Mariel listed as questionable for TT?
With that in mind, MS wasn't moving very well during the senior recognition. I think a win over Baylor is very possible, but I'm worried about his ability to go play 30 minutes and, with a win, his ability to play again the next day. 3 games in 3 days?

ISU can beat Baylor at full strength so I'd prefer that.

Just need to get things together, acknowledge what got them ahead if it happens, and keep at it.

A buddy of mine lives in Waco and that's what they are saying on sports radio down there. He didn't play on Saturday and probably won't be ready by Thursday morning.

Thanks. Let's hope it's right. We have a shot at Baylor even with Mason but, I'll take all the help we can get right now
