K-State will not be bowling ...

If Klieman is feed up with the old system, which belongs to the Purple Grampa (and has his name on the stadium), his days are numbered.
I see your point. My thoughts are that every coach needs to set thier own culture in place, or else they are done moving forward anyway. Think Herman at tx or csp following cfh. Cmc did that very thing when he arrived in ames. That "maybe" what is happening at kst is all in saying.
I study the folks that change the culture of organizations. They all do similar kinds of things. One of the first is to offer the door to those who are not getting on board. The kst coach strikes me as a guy who would do just that.

None of the guys who transferred out improved their situation. Going to Rutgers, the best of the lot is hardly an upgrade over K-State.

Youngblood had ties to Schiano during his Florida high school days. Personally, I believe Schiano is a hell of a fine coach and Josh should do well there.

But for the most part, these athletes were not expected to play much in the future or were leftovers disenchanted with Klieman's program or perhaps both.

Nick Ast, a backup, walk-on QB is also transferring. Skylar Thompson is meeting with Klieman this week to determine his future.

Beat OU!

KSTATE played uncharacteristically poor this year. I have no doubt they will be better in the future. This year's KSTATE team would have performed quite well in the B1G West.

K-State was not going to have a good record this season or next year with or without Covid. Snyder put very little effort into recruiting his last 2 1/2 years on the job. Depth at many positions is non-existent for at least another year. 2022 will be the first year that Klieman can be fairly judged as a program builder

Klieman will do just fine there. Hate to say that.
