The green stuff it is. At least here. That green spray stuff they use for seed can work shockingly well. But like you said, they would have to water the hell out of it which I don’t know if they would get that done correctly.
Sorry, @Messi.

3 weeks from now that should be good-ish?
I was bored a few months ago and lazily counted A5 spots from Google maps and compared it to the number listed, I think 240ish. There were only about 150 previously. Straight lines plus adding spots on the east and west ends of the lots helped alotGuess I’m not sure on the per section, but I’m pretty sure overall there’s supposed to be more parking after Cy-Town is complete than there has been previously.
I think thats what they did on the other side so that makes sense.
Even if you find a spot with grass this Saturday, I’m guessing the fresh sod will be soaking wet. You said A3, right?3 weeks from now that should be good-ish?
but yea 48 hrs from now ill be standing on dirt or concrete trying to keep rocks out of my babies mouth haha
we're throwing in an old 12x10 rug into the tailgate truck this weekendEven if you find a spot with grass this Saturday, I’m guessing the fresh sod will be soaking wet. You said A3, right?
Three weeks? Much better.
Now MBB...I can just imagine heading to a 1pm Saturday game at 11, watching the early B12 game with a few beers and some food, and strolling into Hilton at 12:45. That sounds pretty fun to me.
Unlike Johnny's, "regular folks" will be able to go to the Cytown bars.Might draw some traffic off Johnnys even, given how uncomfortably packed that's been.
So have there even been any other rumors of breweries besides the one about West-O or is it still totally up in the air? I'd think they'd want to get that locked down at some point here.no doubt but having been to Titletown a few times for work, im thinking CyTown will be similarly anchored by one large brewery with food & bev and then a few others smaller only spots, some being beverage only potentially
an ideal tennant for that anchor spot would be Big Grove. Spare me the "theyre hawks!"
they make amazing beer, great food and have experience running a large scale restaurant.
Agree, and I personally love craft beer, but a brewery is a somewhat risky venture given the fall off in demand for craft beers over the past few years. So have there even been any other rumors of breweries besides the one about West-O or is it still totally up in the air? I'd think they'd want to get that locked down at some point here.
I've had less than 3/4 in of rain for the month of August in Ames. It would take a pretty considerable amount of rain for the grass lots to not be ok by Saturday.Talking one to two inches of rain possible for Ames tonight, but then dry for the rest of the week. Hope this rain does not effect the grass lots.
Maybe assuming it will silt in fairly quickly, especially until they get grass started. Just guessing.Quick question. Why do they seem to be leaving the level of the drainage ditches lower than the culverts? Isn’t the standing water a mosquito breeding ground?
Something like the Iowa tap house would be great. With big tables and TVs everywhere. And blackjack and hookersSo have there even been any other rumors of breweries besides the one about West-O or is it still totally up in the air? I'd think they'd want to get that locked down at some point here.
Dont forget hot tubs. Lots of hot tubs.Something like the Iowa tap house would be great. With big tables and TVs everywhere. And blackjack and hookers
@thisISnextyear is the road concrete? From the video camera it is not asphalt. Just curious. TIAThat road is complete. The section of it between A3 and B3 is just covered with sand and needs to be cleaned off.
