With so many quality players on the team, and Fred adapting to players' strengths, it would be interesting to see if he starts pressing more. That would speed up the pace and make sure more players are getting to play. I can see players such as McKay and Cunningham, with their long arms, playing the middle of the press. The downside could be lack of continuity with players going in and out of the game, never establishing any rhythm. But, if anyone can manage that, it's Fred.

Hmmm.... I wonder if we backed off, or if it was his decision? Seems like an odd list (three good programs and two dogs).
Not too surprising. Seems like you didn't hear much about him lately, at least in relation to Iowa State, so I figured we'd kind of laid off in favor of putting all our eggs in the Vaughn basket.
He's a Chicago area kid, right? Makes me think deep down he wants to stay really close to home.
This just means we're even more likely to have the Wild Thing Rashad Vaughn locked up.
Cunningham saw the proverbial "Writing on the Wall".
Do you think Vaughn will embrace this title and come out with the haircut and glasses??

It was reported a while back that we were not persuing Cunningham anymore and we were "going all in" on Vaughn. This shouldn't be all that surprising. I think landing McKay changed Fred's plan and since Cunningham would classify as a Nader type player. And with Nader and Hogue playing the same position already for the most part, we don't necessarily need him. Especially with the SG position that has been our most sketchy position.
