That was good! I went to YouTube and gave the guy (Mad Fran) his 1st 'like'. I hope a bunch of people do this today and give him some more likes!!!
I showed my wife the photo and she agreed to let me get a small frame of this to hang in the office. One wall is ISU football but we’re doing a Hilton wall. This will be prominently featured.

People might disagree, and that's fine.
But my opinion is, we had nothing when Johnny came, nothing. He single handily saved Iowa state athletics. All the stuff we have now, football, basketball, whatever...none of it would have been possible without Johnny. He gave the entire university an identity and a personality that we never had, and that still carries over today.

JO was the most sarcastic, tell-the-truth guy I have ever met at that level of a profession. He was beautiful.
We got rained out at a QC Cyclone Club golf outing. My mom and wife were the only "girls" there. Time to waste at the clubhouse.

He called me “coach” once and told me not to fall off my shoes. Such a character, a larger than life sort of guy.
