JJeff is a !st rounder!!!!!

I think that he has really good playmaking skills as a point forward. But, he’s short for an nba 4 and he’s not an above the rim player. He’s going to have to get his outside shot up to a high % to stick long term in the league.
I think he will only improve from long range, as he did at ISU. And he is definitely more than a competent enough rebounder for the NBA. Would also venture he still has the capacity to get even stronger, especially given his work ethic. He is capable of playing a Draymond Green type of game (minus the technicals) if necessary. Congratulations Joshua!

Sounds like George’s, and how has his career gone?

Here’s the real skinny - Wolves drafted him because the Nets WANTED him! He is right where he is needed. Org has Randle- who better to model him after? Great for JJ!

Not a bad spot for JJ, he'll get PT during his rookie contract and can hopefully get a deal with a better team in a couple of years.

The Big 12 having 9 first rounders from 7 different teams is crazy.

Congrats JJeff! Brooklyn is a bit of a mess but honestly that isn’t a bad landing spot and he should get minutes as a rookie.

Also big 12 absolutely showed out with 9 picks in the first round. That is crazy

The Athletic just posted their 2nd round picks and do not have TL taken in the 2nd round. I would guess if that occurs he will have a great chance of getting picked up by a team to fill out their summer league team and if he shows enough, get an invite to fall camp.

I can't believe that they can't get this deal corrected and give em the right damn hat.

Yeah the whole thing seemed really silly. Like when the NFL makes a trade on draft day, they just switched everything really quick and get the guy the right hat, we know who is picking. NBA does this weird thing where they make the other team draft, give them the wrong hat, do all that stuff. Just switched it. It's really dumb. Then like ten picks later they announce the trade.

It's not the biggest deal in the world, but it's JJs biggest day ever, up to now anyway, and everyone knows who drafted him and where he's going, but there he is with some other teams cap on!
At least he pointed it high so you can't even really tell when he's standing with the commish. It's far worse early on when they give em a jersey (if they still do that, I wasn't even watching other than JJ.)
