They mentioned him in a lot of the other categories.
It’s early, but you get a feel Avery Johnson vs. JJ Kohl could be quite a QB duel in a couple years. Two kids who stayed local and yet are really high end prospects.
Our QB room as a whole…. Damn. Has it ever had a run this good?
Rivals was almost as high on JJ.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's not deserving. Just that 247 didn't rank him as high as everyone else. They were using their rankings going into the camp as well as the performance at camp to rank them according to an article I saw. Kinda stupid, but I think it also indicates they aren't weighting one competition all that much. He might move up a little, but I wouldn't expect him to make a huge jump in 247. Doesn't change the fact that by most accounts he was arguably the best looking prospect at the camp.Rivals was almost as high on JJ.

247 had to be biased towards their guys regardless of how well they did. What I mean by that is their E11 rankings were 50% based on Jr. film (BS IMO) and 50% on camp performance.
As I mentioned a couple posts above, 247 and E11 are not the same entity.
Anyway, JJ gets the ratings bump from 247.

Pretty cool to see Kohl, Johnson (KSU) and Novosad (BU) all next to each other in the top 14 of the composite rankings. The national media's attempts to dump dirt on top of the Big 12 continue to fail.
