Jim Nantz & Clark Kellogg

I think Steve Kerr is doing a really nice job. He obviously doesn't know all the players, and he shouldn't be expected to. But he basically has an unmatched knowledge of the game and does a great job of adding value to the broadcast with his knowledge and ability to get his point across quickly.

All great announcers. No joke. Love em all. Verne is better with SEC football though.

throws in stupid catch phrases with too much emphasis?????
 
I would prefer Clark taking back Barkley's spot. Seriously, Barkley has to go. He just goes on rants where no one gets what he's saying. Not a lot going on upstairs in that big dude.
 
It was comical for a while hearing Nantz mess up calling each team the wrong way. Giving points to the wrong team. Calling players by the wrong name.

At one point he actually apologized for messing up, when they usually let that stuff go.

And for Clark... nobody minds a know it all announcer, if that person is normally right. You are mostly wrong.
 
I believe Clarke really waants to be an official as he is always making the calls on the floor. Then since he has replay he can say "See I was right". If announcers want to be officials get your license, stripp3ed shirt & whistle and do it but I don't need them making the calls on air. Just my pet peeve.

ive noticed this a lot this year too.

its usually not the pbp guy though..
 
When it comes to March Madness, no one comes close to Gus.

By comparison, Jim Nantz is a human sleeping pill. :SLEEP:

Btw, I believe Gus has the call on Butler-Florida today. Hoping for a close game!
 
Gus is just awful. He stumbled through the game today and several times referred to Shelvin Mack as a senior leader. The guys a junior. Nantz and Kellogg are pros, I'll take them every time.
