Jefferson NOT gone.

Y'know, Jefferson being back is such an unbelievably big deal on both ends for the floor and hopefully ceiling of the team. No guarantees but I do believe he has conference PotYish potential and I'm super stoked he's gonna be around.

Also, I will always find how much athletes love Ledger-Joker hilarious.

I'd say it's between him, Emmanuel Sharp (if he returns), AJ Dybantsa, and Darryn Peterson as early favs

Wow, what a recollection you have. Bogart was a male Nebelung, a breed that originated in the 1980s that I had never heard of until my youngest son informed me about Bogart's heritage near the end of his life in 2023.

Nebelung in German, I've read, means creature of the mist, deriving from their medium gray hair, I'm guessing.

Nebelung's are rare, I've discovered, after Bogart died I searched to find a Nebelung to adopt. Wow. So few of them. And so far away. So, how in hell did Bogart end up in an Ottumwa shelter? I'll never know.

Bogart was a wonderful pal. Thanks for asking. I apologize to others here in this thread for going off on a tangent.

Looking at his eyes, he had special powers, didn't he!

I'm pretty sure Pele was not Nebelung, which have really bushy tails, 'pantaloons' (long hair) on the backs of their rear legs, pretty long body hair and a ruffle around the neck.

I am no sort of expert on cat breeds, though. Pele looks like a Russian blue, looking at his face and chest. He looks so sad in the photo, did you not yet give him his evening cat treats? heh

You are automatically given UI men's bball season tickets and a lifetime subscription to Hawkeye Beacon.

I shutter to think.
They aren't even trying with that type of punishment. I'm pretty sure UI is already sending free tickets with a certificate for free pizza to everybody in the state of Iowa.

That means they're keeping the pizza for themselves!

Something tells me Jefferson won’t be winning 6th Man of the Year awards this year… unless somehow he just works better coming off the bench 3 minutes into the game and then leading the team in minutes played.

Sarcasm? Lol

Good-natured, yes. Was thinking he was probably going to start this coming year… then realized the team worked better as a whole last year when he came off the bench 2 minutes into the game. Point being - you can’t win the 6th Man award if you’re a starter.

I think you’re thinking of Jones unfortunately, who is out of eligibility.
