So Otz didn’t want to yank his scholarship but also didn’t want him as part of the class so he never called him. High IQ move there from TJ!
Kinda sounds like tj has other wants for that scholarship.
Never like to see this, but given that TJ recruited his teammate, I'm assuming that TJ was familiar enough with him that he would have prioritized contact with him had he wanted him.
Even if you don’t want him, not reaching out for days is a REALLY bad look.
Not how things should be handled on our side. A quick text saying you are the new coach and will be getting in touch in a few days needed to happen. Only have 2-3 commits, not like football where there are 25-30.
Oh I was just making assumptions based on tj ghosting him. If tj thought he was a difference maker he would reach out.

Was excited for Nunn, due to, he was from Flint, MI. Any player from Flint that has played for Iowa State has been successful.

Regardless, if that is his decision, he should at least contact a recruit who committed to ISU. It's the classy thing to do and not very considerate to not do so. Not good for a coach's reputation as a recruiter or a person, especially in Flint with the quality players who've come from there.
