You do know that Nebraska was incredibly awful last year right? Losing only by 2 to Penn State with how Barkley was dominating is more impressive to me, as odd as that sounds, than beating Nebraska.Bowls are a different animal in that they are often 6+ weeks after the season is over. My perception is that Iowa's November record under Ferentz is pretty good but I've done zero research. I do know last year they beat the tar out of Ohio State and Nebraska at the end of last year and won their bowl game. They had two losses but both to bowl teams including Wisconsin.
So what your evidence Iowa is behind the times? The latest and greatest thing in football training is the GPS stuff and Doyle was one of the earliest adopters. Recruits talk about their S&C program all the time. Also, they had a couple of 2 star recruits earn consensus AA honors last season. What are your supporting points?
