How far has the hearing loss progressed? If it’s minor to moderate (or if you just need general amplification) Apple air pods actually work really well for some at a much lower price point. Major issue is just battery life compared to a dedicated hearing aid like the Jabra.Anyone here use Jabra hearing Aids? I've had a pair of Resound for 7 years and they finally died. Not crazy about spending $6K to replace. Jabra cost less than $2K and gets great reviews. Just curious to see if anyone here has any experience.
There is a Hearing Aid Clinic in CR called Hope Hearing that claims they can reduce Tinitus.Do they work for Tinitus?
I have several tones that are almost gone in one ear. I need a true customized hearing aid, not just an amplifier. The only concern I have about going with Jabra is service. At least once a year I have to get my cases cleaned or replace a plugged receiver cable. How far has the hearing loss progressed? The jabra enhance select 300 you can get on Amazon for well under 2K usually and are very good for that price point
Ahhh I get your concern now and frankly it’s an extremely valid one. Whatever you decide I hope it works out for you.I have several tones that are almost gone in one ear. Concur. And I resemble this statement!!Man… CF is getting old AF.
I have tinnitus and my Jabras have definitely helped.Tinnitus sucks, and there’s not much that can be done that I’m aware of. If you have hearing loss, hearing aids could help because the increased volume helps “mask” the ringing.
I bought my 1st hearing aids, OTC, from MDHearing, for $299. Rechargeable was a big selling point. I wanted to make sure that I would wear them before spending more. They worked okay. So then I went ahead and purchased the Jabra Enhance 300s for $1,700. One year ago. Much better, more functional. I'm pretty happy with them. How far has the hearing loss progressed?
