Jabra Hearing Aids

Anyone here use Jabra hearing Aids? I've had a pair of Resound for 7 years and they finally died. Not crazy about spending $6K to replace. Jabra cost less than $2K and gets great reviews. Just curious to see if anyone here has any experience.
How far has the hearing loss progressed? If it’s minor to moderate (or if you just need general amplification) Apple air pods actually work really well for some at a much lower price point. Major issue is just battery life compared to a dedicated hearing aid like the Jabra.

The jabra enhance select 300 you can get on Amazon for well under 2K usually and are very good for that price point

I have several tones that are almost gone in one ear. I need a true customized hearing aid, not just an amplifier. The only concern I have about going with Jabra is service. At least once a year I have to get my cases cleaned or replace a plugged receiver cable.

Ahhh I get your concern now and frankly it’s an extremely valid one. Whatever you decide I hope it works out for you.

A lengthy marriage is a guarantee that when you are furthest separated in the house, and you're just into relaxing (or a project) all you can hear from her is .... blah bur gurg fsts whar fur sum clink.
Then the walk back begins. And you saying "what!" more steps ... "what!" more steps ... "what!"

I have them. They were the cheaper option than most specialty places and you don’t have to go in all the time for adjustments. I can make most from my app, including preset and custom settings (restaurant, outside, kids, etc). The ones that I can’t, I just click a button and talk with their audiologist team and they remotely send the tweaks.

I love them, as sad as that sounds:)

I sometimes use the AirPods Pro 2 as they do a great job, as mentioned above, but they only go so far. For some reason my hearing has gone from great to moderate to severe loss in both ears over the past 18 months.

My ENT also likes the Jabra 500.

Tinnitus sucks, and there’s not much that can be done that I’m aware of. If you have hearing loss, hearing aids could help because the increased volume helps “mask” the ringing.
I have tinnitus and my Jabras have definitely helped.

I bought my 1st hearing aids, OTC, from MDHearing, for $299. Rechargeable was a big selling point. I wanted to make sure that I would wear them before spending more. They worked okay. So then I went ahead and purchased the Jabra Enhance 300s for $1,700. One year ago. Much better, more functional. I'm pretty happy with them.
