J.J. Kohl

I get that some may want to go to PSU, which is fine, but am I the only one excited that a coach who WANTED to be the ISU head coach is here? This was a coach who said a few years back, "What will it take for me to be the head coach at ISU"?
Yikes. Don't we think some of that enthusiasm will rub off on our players?

I cannot imagine how good an offensive line would need to be for me to support bringing in QBs who can’t run well. It’s a thing of the past.

You're saying he's not good enough to be the quarterback at a school that finished worse than us this year. And how many times have Williams and Blum told us that stuff that is said on here gets to the players, even if they aren't reading it directly on the site?

OP, nothing personal. But we constantly sell ourselves short with dreams of people who have no credible qualification except they attended ISU. It’s like we are cool on a sinking ship as long as it’s painted cardinal and gold.

Kohl rode the pine at App State. Dude wasn’t trusted to beat Marshall. Why would he come here and beat TCU?

LOL. Looks like he actually started and beat Marshall. Looks like he started a bunch of games for App St. this season.

TJ wanted to be here too and apparently he's unhappy with Jamie too.

Never forget that there were people who didn't want us to fire Paul Rhoads because he was from Ankeny.

Manske is the starter next year. He's a big kid and has great rushing ability. I'm pretty confident that He is staying and gets the starting nod (If theres not a transfer QB)
