IWCC

Coe was one of the stars of iowa's 2011 recruiting class. And Dawson was THE star of UNI's 2010 class.

Coe isn't going to Iowa State.

Newsflash!?! Are you joking or just stupid? Coe had tons of offers at LB...he'll probably still have those LB offers if he plays that position at IWCC. If he plays RB, he does not fit into ISU's system. ISU is not going after a JUCO RB who doesn't fit their system.

Rarely do teams place recruits at JUCOs and end up getting them back. Either they play better than expected and get the really big offers or worse than expected and the original school passes. For every one that makes it back, there are 10 that don't.

He said he is still coming to Iowa.

For now maybe, but I would say that too(not to Iowa). There is no reason to burn the bridge with Iowa when you have no other offers. More than likely something will change for him for better or worse and he will go somewhere else. As previously said, seldom do sign and place guys end up at their original school.

Off the top of my head shonn Greene and Amari Spivey did.

What are the chances Dawson moves to LB? Out of high school, I remember we didn;t offer him because he didn;t fit our system at RB. We were also a likely favorite if we offered. I'm thinking if he plays LB well, we would offer.

I did not think Green played football at JC, just went to fix his grades. Therefore there was not really a chance for him to get better offers or show that he was not as good. Turns out he was better when he came back, but if he had played and shown this at JC, good chance that he would have gotten a better offer than UI.
