Don't know for sure though, as I don't have access to the coveted "dumb" button, so I am not versed in its dispensation. I do get it from time to time though. It's kind of anticlimactic to receive it, as the icon is rather bland...

I said it was his worst idea yet. You think it's a good idea to suggest any guy in his 70s can beat Gable in wrestling? My post was one of the less political in the thread and I actually defended Gable getting the award several times. You're being pretty transparent in your own political passions.

This poster gives out probably 500 dumb buttons a day, I've probably used it 5 times ever. But yeah I deserved it for stating the obvious and he's a brilliant saint.

Honest question- if the video has a political bent to it, who does it make look good and who looks bad? It appears this guy is mad at the federal govt but I’m not sure who he’s blaming. Doesn’t he start out by condemning remarks by whom I assume is a member of the majority party in the senate? Also, I think this is video from Cspan being shown by a Fox affiliate, not Fox News, but I could be wrong. I didn’t notice anybody editorializing before the video.

The video does come from C-Span. The whole outrage over the source is a fallicy. The remarks that the doctor took offense at were made in the opening statement by the the ranking minority member.

Yeah, I have passions...and one of them is the foolishness of immediately dismissing news stories out of hand without investigating them because of the 3-letter acronym that accompanies the source. Another would be the foolishness of not thoroughly investigating the repurposing presently available drugs to fight COVID.
