For me it's that TCU is 6-2 vs Texas over the past 8 years.

The results of ISU should not really surprise anyone.

    IOWA STATE
    7-1 - Kansas
    4-4 - Texas Tech
3-5 - Baylor, TCU, West Virginia
    2-6 - Texas
1-7 - Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State

KU has been horrible for years, TT has been up and down, just like us. Baylor and TCU had great teams the first year of the playoffs, and both have been up and down since then.

OU and OSU have been the most stable of all teams, UT has better athletes and more of them than ISU could ever hope to get.

KSU is the one that is the most surprising, ISU blew at least 2 games they should have won, included the last year Rhodes was the coach here.

Anytime you change HC, unless you are OU, there is naturally going to be a drop off from their record, if the program was successful before the change. Ohio St. nor OU missed a beat when their old coach left, and the new coach came on board.

I find it interesting that KSU football fails against Baylor about as much as their basketball team does against Kansas.

In ISU's corner considering they were marginal or bad from 2012-2016 it's not very surprising.

OU seems to have fits with KSU but for as potent as they are a fundamentally sound team will screw them up pretty easily.

KU has finished in last place in all but 1 year since they fired the Fat Man (2014, when we had the honor)

Maybe not interesting but it's sure as hell funny: KU's one win over "powerhouse" Texas.

This is one of those stats that mean nothing.
Since 1990 we have 5 wins vs KSU, including 2 ten game losing streaks to KSU. Snyder hated ISU with a passion and it showed.

You don't find it interesting that for as bad as we've been the last 40+ years, we still have a winning record against purple kansas? How is it a meaningless stat?

Hmm, not really, since TCU has been better for most of the past 8 years.
