***ISU WNBA Thread***

everyone on both teams has made it in the game besides our 2 Cyclones and 1 other MN player. Strange Bridget hasn’t more time on this Lynx squad that’s been by far the worst team in the league 3 games into the season

Ashley with a DNP vs Washington Mystics on 6/2. She’s not even listed in the box score.

I looked at WNBA Transactions and she’s not been waived, so it appears she’s still on the team.

To illustrate how competitive the league is for roster spots, Baylor’s POY Lauren Cox was cut by the Connecticut Sun on June 1.

She posted something on Instagram from Washington D.C. so still on team just not getting any playing time, ugh!

ESPN had her as a DNP - Coaches Decision. Im ready for WNBA expansion. Talent level has exploded over the past 5 years.

Flipped on 2nd half of Lynx versus Mystics tonight. Carleton did not play. Was at the end of the bench but never took off her orange tie dye t-shirt so it seemed like she wasn't going to play. Not sure if hurt or just buried at the end of the bench. Lynx were brutal in crunch time but hung on to win their first game.

i saw a pic on the team’s social media this week with Bridget sporting a brace on her finger. Can’t recall whether it was her shooting hand.

Ash had another DNP last night (fourth in a row) in a home win over Phoenix - she was the only healthy player who didn’t get on the court. Meanwhile, Dallas has two emergency medical replacement signings, Kalani Brown and Odyssey Sims (both former Baylor) seeing significant court time. When an injured player (Senechal, DeShields, McGowan) returns, somebody has to go.

Ack, Odyssey Sims. Hated her in her 2nd stint with the Lynx. Especially hated it when Bridget was in cause I knew Sim would NEVER pass her the bal. NEVER.
