ISU vs UNC

At 76-68 after Meeks had just made a layup I remember thinking "Wow, they can just throw it down in the low post EVERY POSSESSION and we can't do anything about it." Then Naz makes a 3 and everything changes.

Also I'm pretty sure Steve Kerr counted us out of this game the entire second half.

Well, you know what I just did. Naz was so clutch last year. If he gets better at all, it's going to be scary. I mean, he was already incredible from 3. Such a weapon.

Love the ISU guys right behind the UNC bench. I could watch Naz's 3 with 50.9 left all day. What a great play to get him the ball with UNC not paying attention.

Welllllll, let's see. Shall I continue playing really bad SyFy movies for background noise, or shall I watch this game?

Not much problem choosing... :)

every time they said Leslie McDonald, I thought of this guy.

What if he adds to his game in the next two years to the degree Ejim did as an upperclassman?
You can see why Travis Hines said during November of Naz's freshman season that the staff saw his role as a 3rd/off-guard. He has size, athletic ability, and handle that to at least add the straight-line "attack the hoop" to his game, to go along with good defense and rebounding. I don't think he will become the lead-guard, create his own shot type, but with defenses overcommitting to stop his shot, he should have opportunities to drive and create.

I was in San Antonio with my Dad and 2 of my sisters at the game. And I distinctly remember the point when my Dad visibly kind accepted that Iowa State would not win. All of a sudden he was kind of less tense ;) One thing that kept me from being too disappointed about the whole Sweet 16 loss and the great chance we had at the Final Four if Georges hadn't gotten injured is that the win against North Carolina was so worth it. Walking out of the arena that Friday night after the UNNC game, was just awful. You could tell by Hoiberg's face as he was walking off the floor that night that something really awful had happened. And the next day we all woke up and almost felt worse than we would have had Iowa State lost. So to get that win against North Carolina was amazing. Not to mention that since we had to drive part of the way home after that game Sunday night---it made the 6 hour drive after the game pretty awesome!

One thing that excites me about Naz is that he kind of hit a bit of a 'sophomore slump' in the middle of the season---he was on fire at the beginning and then kind of struggled a bit in the middle and then came on strong again towards the end.

Great game. The type that fans with no rooting interest would walk away from thinking it was really fun to watch.

Morris, BDJ, Naz and Thomas are going to be lethal next year. This will IMO be the best backcourt we've had in a long time and maybe the deepest it's ever been.

Hogue, Niang, Mckay, Nader, Edozie and Tsalbo have a shot at being very special as well.

Sometimes when I'm having a bad day, I go and watch Naz's last second shot on senior day. My day gets better immediately.

I have Amazon Kindle Fire HD and have the app for March Madness but how does one watch the full game all I see is the game recap?

Thanks guys. I am now NOT cleaning the house, but watching this game on the DVR. I watch it often. I have the Big 12 Tourney games, the ISU v iowa game, the ISU @ OSU game, and both the NCAA winning games on the DVR. Had the previous NCAA games and the OSU football game, but the DVR crashed and those were lost.

Just watched it with my wife. I'm not sure if beating Roy or Marcus was the best? Something about a kid spurring an home state team to play for a blue blood only to get beat by said home state team makes me all warm inside.

As much as I dislike Ol' Roy, I have to admit he took the end of that game very well when the refs talked to the two coaches about the clock & missed time out.

For the record, I'm now watching the Clones pound KU in the Sprint Center. Life is good.

Yes he really did take it well. Although it was pretty clear cut so not much room to complain.
