ISU Track & Field studs

Announcers did her an absolute disservice

ESPN continuing to trot out Dwight Stones as the lead announcer should be the first clue.

They were clearly unprepared for anyone besides Hedengren (count the number of times her name is butchered, anyway) and Kosgei.

At least they found her name this time. It seems like at the regional meet they couldn't even figure out who runners were or what team they represented if they weren't one of the 2 or 3 they highlighted before the start.

The production level at Arkansas sounded like the PA feed, with announcing duties being done by a couple of students who weren't afforded any type of spotter or stats help.

BYU is annoying. Hedengren is a stud but cant stand BYU.

Solid Run. The one northern runner in the whole thing.

It's ridiculous the SEC/non-SEC split in the short races.

Late-breaking development -- the winner from Alabama was DQ'd in the 5K for taking too many steps over the inside line.

Rule 15.5-3g: Steps on or over the curb with more than one step anywhere on any curve for the entirety of the race.

That moves ISU up to 2nd and 4th in the event, and 3 more team points.

REVISED TEAM SCORING

2. Florida 43
3. Arkansas 38
4. Oregon 36
