ISU Plates

I have JNECKER

First Initial of my first name, Part of my last name(Longnecker).

I just got TNECKER, Son's Initial

My Dad has DNECKER

My Mom has CNECKER

I cannot get my wife to go with HNECKER that is why we got TNECKER on the second car.
That's a whole lot of Neckers.

Gift from my parents

AGR1823

AGR-Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity

1823- Initiation number. I am the 1,823 member of the Eta (ISU) chapter

Mine is ISU DRS. Everyone thinks it stands for ISU Doctors but I got them put on when my older brother started working for UNI because his initials are DRS.

Always curious what ISU plates folks have and what they mean. Ours are:

XCYTINK - Little play on Exciting...but had to get MrsWx's nickname in there.
STPACYD - Step Aside....Not Stop Acid.

CYKT

The insatiable need to form a self-identity by obsessively comparing itself to another continues.

Someone in Cedar Rapids has a University of Iowa plate with the following: "2BAD CY". It happens on both sides and I agree it's dumb.

The plate on my truck is "LEV4ISU". Last name: Levetzow. Nickname in high school: Lev

On my old car I had ZNISNV but I got rid of the plates when I got rid of the car (350Z).

 Yea, even though I haven't seen it, I believe that's my brother-in-law's car.:embarrassed: He was bragging up getting the plate - I don't get the obsession.

We have 2 ISU plates, one's just the generic numbered one and the other is TRENTER, which is just a nickname for my first name.

Thats a common plate (different number) with the AGRs (at ISU anyway)

Yeah- Not very original.

It is kinda cool to see someone with ISU -AGR**** plates. I often meet younger/older "brothers" (Members of the Fraternity) because they see my plates or I see theirs at work or other activities so then we start talking. Otherwise we might not even know that we spent 4 years at the same place and might know some of the same people.

Its a good conversation starter.
