ISU - KU postgame. We won the 2nd half!

You're entitled to your opinion...I personally believe Wesley, Brackins, and Garrett are going to be FAR better than this supposive "mvc level" player. I also think Lucca and Buckley will be, but you could definately debate that since they have yet to see the hardwood here.

I mean an MVC strategy, not talent. We are taking on too many projects. I would love to see us get some guys ready to play right away...

I agree. Calling those guys MVC players is pretty off-based. I think baseball guy was more referring to having to develop them then their talent level. And I just talked about that in my previous post, so i am not going to rehash.

Agree completely...and the '09 class has the POTENTIAL to be a monster class for us if things go our way...I also wouldn't mind if Michael Beasley decided to transfer here though and play another couple years.

This year we're second to last in the Big 12 with an SOS of 137 (224 noncon).
Last year we were third to last in the Big 12 with an SOS of 135 (203 noncon).

In 2006 it was 93, (71 noncon)
in 2005, it was 73, (201 noncon)
in 2004, it was 41, (157 noncon)
in 2003, it was 76, (296 noncon)

You get the idea. While it might seem like the schedule has been upgraded, it really hasn't.

Looks like it has been downgraded.

09'. The instate talent alone that year is as good as it's been in a long time...We already have Dykstra on board, and we are in on some big-time prospects...(Barnes, Stevens, Williams, etc...). We won't get all of them, but I feel pretty good about our chances with at least one or 2 of them.
Do you mean 08 or 09?

I think he meant '09, because we are after a ton of big guys in that class. BTW, Dykstra, Stevens, and Barnes are '10. From some info I have found, we are after a ton of high quality players in '09 though.
