Unless you take 20 through northern Nebby. You wouldn't want to break down out there on a cold night without phone signal and no town for 20 miles.I drive back to Iowa for Christmas and I like driving through Nebraska. It’s better than Kansas. You’re near the river for parts of it in Nebraska which is nice.
You should try Cheyenne to Casper... Yeesh. I've heard from most of the guys in my business (mucho travelo, viajar if you thought I didn't know the word) that the drive from Houston to Lubbock is death and Houton to El Paso is divorce.I dread the KC to Topeka drive let alone to Manhattan. Wasteland is correct. I honestly can stand Nebraska better than NE Colorado when you break off around ogalala. Not even gas stations.

BTW guess who's going to Hawaii, Island of Kauai on the company's dime, AND I get paid to be there for 5 days in the dead of winter? If you guessed this guy you're correct. I almost asked you to watch my dog but my cousin bailed me out! @Doc
I'd say yes, but recent history in this series has been abysmal for us
You do know that Bill's wife and in-laws are from Iowa and Iowa State grads right? I voted yes.
There are degrees of rivals. For ISU, Iowa is as much of a rival as a team can have, like Kansas-Mizzou and Wisconsin-Minnesota. Then you can have rivals that are still rivals but aren't quite the same - Iowa State vs. K-State, or Kansas vs. K-State, or Wisconsin vs. Iowa.
