ususally when ISU is on espn+ i find and illegal stream and watch that way, but that is always a crap shoot for quality and inevitably I have to restart the stream anywhere from a few times to 10+ times per game which sucks.

for those of you that have tried ESPN+ is it worth the 10 bucks a month? Probably better during basketball season I would guess when there is a higher probability of ISU being aired more that one time per month.

To me, being able to watch all the ISU games on there plus every 30 for 30 on demand is worth it. The espn premium articles are alright but nothing groundbreaking. I personally can justify $10 for that but I think it’s all up to you

The quality is good, you don’t have to worry about everything you said, and can watch it anywhere. I understand the principle of not wanting to pay for it, but it’s less than a fast food meal.

Yes, especially once it rolls around to basketball season. I watch a lot of other Big 12 games on there too

I'd say its worth it for just the ISU/Big 12 stuff but it's best feature to me is the college basketball coverage. I'll watch basically all levels of CBB and you get more games than you can possibly ever watch during basketball season. We have ours bundled with Hulu live so I never have to mess with the ESPN app, its perfect.

If you are looking for “cable” options as well then consider Hulu since espn+ is included in one of their bundles.
We went to this 4 years ago and the only time I've needed to open another app was when we played on the LHN (no longer a concern) or our game got pushed to the espn app bc of another game going long.

I know having to bounce back and forth between apps was my biggest concern when cord cutting and having these two apps together solves that issue.

came here to say this also. I have the bundle with hulu and never looked back. I will just flip through my Hulu guide and see Iowa st womens soccer or volleyball just like a normal channel.

the cons of Hulu is they don't have multiview screens and the guide is bit wonky.
I would imagine they will get those addressed at some point.

but yes, ESPN+ is worth it. Lots of good stuff on that platform.

Same its great. I love how you can pick all the games you wanna watch and it stays in recents, so its easy to flip around.

Of course. It will cost you more than $10 to go to the game. It's also well worth it during basketball season.
I live in TN. I can only get back for a game every other year or so. might make it to KSU though!

can you record games? I'd really like to turn off my phone, delay the start and fast forward through all the commercials. i have youtubetv and that feature is awesome.
