Both teams put extra emphasis on this game. That's why its a ****ing rivalry.

Last year, Iowa played their best game of the year against us, and we played our worst. That's not even debatable. Yet, somehow, Iowa State "wants" it more.

I just don't see all the vitriol against IOWA. I mean they are are an in-state school, we are all fellow Iowans, right. Why can't we just have a nice competitive game, and call it good?


But then I remember who we are playing, it is IOWA after all, and it is our superbowl and all that, and I just love the Iowa fans too, by and large, they are so sweet!
