You have got to be kidding. You're going to have to do much better than that, Einstein. Pretty sure he was the highest placing Cyclone last year, and do you doubt that he won't repeat? Go pop your Jiffy Pop.
For one, let's get one thing straight, not one person brought up last year or has ever said he doesn't have the ability. 2 Why wouldn't I question if he even wrestles again. The guy wants to talk all this crap but yet he isn't even in the line up. Why is it he can talk all this smack about being tough but can't suck it up to wrestle through some of the injury? If there is an injury. Cause what KJ said after the duals, it's not helping his story.

I brought up last year because YOU said he hasn't done anything to back it up. After the completion of this season, I'll do it for you, again. As far as what KJ said, I suggest you hone your comprehension skills.

Jackson said he asked Downey how he was feeling on Saturday. Downey told him he wasn't 100 percent....

"I wanted him to compete, I really did," Jackson said. "He didn't think his ankle would hold up in a mat situation that (Oklahoma State wrestler Nolan) Boyd was bringing to the table. If you're already thinking along those lines, thinking that you're not 100 percent and thinking that you're going to be hurt and it's going to affect the rest of your season...."

PD2 you can try to act like I don't know what I'm talking about and I was trying to give you a fair shake, but since you don't want to do that, Theshadow just quoted exactly what KJ himself said. Now I sit front at the meets and I have a perfect view of the bench. And from what I seen Mr. Downey didn't seem to be in to much pain while joking around and getting up and down from his seat.

You can infer some things from these comments but you really don't know what's going on. Yet, you want to assume the worst, don't you? A failing of character. The program has been plagued by this stuff all season. Fans actively wishing for the fall of the coach, and now one of the wrestlers? Wow. I may have to rethink my contribution to CWC.

You clearly have no clue what your talking about. I want you to find in any of these threads where they said they wanted to see KJ fail. And if your happy with the way the season went, you sir have problems.

I said fall, not fail. It's been an on-going theme all year. But feel free to assert a three monkeys defense. It's often used these days.

Brutal overall performance after years of subpar results, topped off by enough drama to make a soap opera tame in comparison. But the fans are to blame.

Right.

As much as I can see, you're the author (or at least a co-author) of the drama.

PD2 - Regardless what PD3 does this year, and next year - I wish him a bright future and appreciate him being a Cyclone. I really appreciate you on here and not hiding who you are like many of us can take advantage of.

Wrestlers need the swagger - and I also 100% know that the parents do as well.

LOL. Yeah this stuff is totally on me.

Pat Downey. I'm the guy who recruited him, coached him, proclaimed him 100% then didn't put him on the mat. I'm the one posting on his Twitter, Snapchat, etc. I'm the guy behind the PD2 handle on this board.

I inexplicably put Colbray on the mat early in the year.

I'm responsible for the RRS transfer.

Boston bouncing around of weights and eventual transfer. That's on me.

The joke that was Simmons making 125 was totally my decision.

I resigned mid season.

Absolutely--I'm the co-author of the ISU wrestling drama this season.

Personally I interpreted this quote for face value... PD3 was injured and KJ understood that and so he didn't wrestle. I'm sure KJ would have "wanted" Kyven to compete too but he doesn't have any eligibility left so he didn't wrestle either. Reading anything else into this is a stretch IMO.

Maybe get him off Twitter? Guy runs his mouth more than anyone and has yet to do anything to back it up.

Seriously you're worried about his twitter usage. If that isn't a "get off my lawn response", I don't know what is.

Fact is PD3 is by FAR ISU's best wrestler and that isn't even debatable, if he wants to have fun on twitter well guess what that's what college kids do.

"Face value" means ignoring the context in regard to the whole of Downey's actions and statements both prior to and after the Jackson quote. To go on and on about pinning this guy and dominating that guy and generally running a lot of smack -- and then your coach says that you didn't want to wrestle because you might get hurt based on the opponent's style of wrestling. That throws up a giant red flag.

Then to hop on social media and state that duals are just practice matches and don't matter -- WHILE the rest of his teammates were currently competing in said dual -- is a slap in the face to the rest of the team.

Read Theshadows response above and he says the exact point I was trying to make. And what's it matter if he is the best wrestler on the team when he'd won't even take the mat?

What's your point? I'm sure you're intelligent enough to distinguish between wrestling with a bum ankle against #5 Boyd vs some unranked nobody. You ever had a severely sprained ankle? You guys troll away on here, pretending to know what's going on. It's comical.

I think Hall and Weatherspoon certainly have a debate.
