Was wondering that but it's a long time after his news broke...and normally they would just retweet his announcement (whenever that happens).2nd commit it was Williams
I mean Williams made it official at the same time this came outWas wondering that but it's a long time after his news broke...and normally they would just retweet his announcement (whenever that happens).
They usually save that video for something that hasn't broke yet.
I'm not saying there is one, just that this is their process. Williams and Mulder visited the same day/days. Could have committed but the program announced it on back to back daysI feel the program only announces one commit per day. Allows the kid to own the day. Meaning, there may be silent commits that they have in the bag however will announce tomorrow.
They also just wait for the player to annouce it first before saying anything.I'm not saying there is one, just that this is their process. Williams and Mulder visited the same day/days. Could have commented but the program announced it on back to back days
I want to dumb this just because you always default to the negative slant...but in today's world...this will always be the risk we run not playing freshmen enough. So we have Mitchell, Toure, and Pleta entering the transfer portal a year from now if you go by the projected lineups.
I agree, definitely makes me get over the loss faster. For me there are aspects of the "Portal Era" that are going to be exciting. I like the portal watching- it helps keep the basketball juices flowing once my team was eliminated. Furthermore, TJ and the Staff seem to be really good at finding their "Portal" guys.
I listened to the actual interview. “Whining” was a major mischaracterization of what he said. He was passionate about his team and upset about losing out of the Big 12 tournament and felt like he let people down.Read a couple of articles about Coleman whining that his contract became public and it put unneeded pressure on him. Tough cookies.
If he is actually good enough to be in the NBA his salary will be public anyway.
Dix will demand much more than we can afford. A Creighton buddy of mine said they were interested in Dix, but he is looking for something north of $1.5 million. Reportedly, Creighton’s total NIL budget is around $7-8 million, and they don’t want to pay Dix what he is looking for. We're not serious candidates for Dix, are we? I thought I read he was likely heading to Creighton. I sure like the idea of a 40% FG shooter from 3 though, even if he has Hok taint.
Are you forgetting the Ken Trickey, Lynn Nance years?I’m curious when we became a perennial top 10 team. We been in the top 10 the last two years at most.

If so, that's good.
Dix would be perfect at KU. They missed that tall white guy that shoots lights out this season.Dix will demand much more than we can afford. A big Creighton friend of mine said they were interested in Dix, but he is looking for something north of $1.5 million. Reportedly, Creighton’s total NIL budget is around $7-8 million, and they don’t want to pay Dix what he wants.
He said that KU, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama are looking at Dix. Their NIL budgets are even higher than Creighton’s, or around $12-14 million. Consequently, overpaying for a player like Dix doesn’t bother them.
that is not true. Our highest paid this year was 500K.This will probably get shot down by someone who actually knows something, but I’ve heard the “main guys” got 750k each this year. Feels like that’s probably high but I have no real idea
KU just looking to continue their obsession with Dicks. Grady, Hunter, Josh.Dix will demand much more than we can afford.
