Iowa State -10 vs West Virginia

WVU is comparable to KSU. So we can get 8 wins if we beat both pretty good teams TTU OSU or if we beat one of the great teams TX OK.

My only comment IRT TXvWV, TX has the Red River game this week. Easy for them to be lacking in focus.
Should we win by 10+? Yes.

Still exCYted to see what this game is.

Not a gambler, but only chance for the win-win is West Virginia +10. If West Virginia covers, you win the bet. If ISU covers, you lose the bet but win the day. If West Virginia covers but loses by 1 to 9, you get the win-win!

OU is nowhere near 8-10 pts. None are.

I've heard tale about a historic stadium in the City of Iowa where certain people say it is worth 20 pts. The home team never loses, sometimes they just happen to beat themselves.

But then played Texas really tough last week. That ended up an 11 point game, weird ISU is getting compared to UT. Seems a bit high to me.
UT...classic look-ahead game for them. I take little from that game.

Idk man, Texas looked decent week 1 but after that, have been a little underwhelming. Okie St got a lot of hype for playing them close and then turned around and got whooped at Tech so who knows. I just think the last few weeks are pretty telling about the Horns.

Hopefully they just aren't that good, other than when they play Baylor.

Defense will travel, I could see the offense sputter out of the gate. They'll figure it out later in the game, ala Baylor, difference being they'll win. But cover the 10.5? Mehhh I'll just bet Moneyline here.

Here's the problem. We're up 14 with 4 and a half minutes to play. You cheer when WV cuts it to 7. The clones play too conservative and punt with three to play. A couple phantom Pass interference calls and the couch burners are knocking on the door. They stick it in from the one as time expires. All you're left with is a big pile of dirty cash and overwhelming guilt knowing you rooted in part for this to happen.

UT is also really banged up on both sides of the ball right now. Sure, they have tons of talent/depth but they are lacking experience.

Better than having that scenario happen and NOT having the points!

Not me. I always root for ISU to dominate regardless of my bet. The bet is always secondary. I placed 2 bets. One for wvu to cover and the other for wvu moneyline. I would be just fine to lose both bets.
