So, most Iowa fans ive interacted with arent confident at all, and most ISU fans Ive talked too are? This feels like a recipe for ISU to get blown out

No idea what to think for this weekend. Rivalry games are weird

In the 12 team CFP format, the game is significantly more important for Iowa than Iowa State (it's still important for ISU). With no divisions, Iowa is NOT winning the Big 10 anymore so their ONLY path to the CFP is an at-large and those at-large hopes are almost completely demolished with a loss to Iowa State. While a loss to Iowa kills ISU's already small at-large chances, it literaly does not impact their conference title odds one bit.

We’d have to turn the ball over numerous times for that to happen, but that’s not impossible. We’ve had some dumb turnovers and costly ones at that in this game.

I could see a lot of scenario's playing out, even thinking the worst and I know full well how these games get weird. However, ISU getting blown out would absolutely SHOCK me.

I want to believe that if a blowout occurs, Iowa is more likely to be on the losing end of said blowout, but dont know how optimistic i feel about this game.

I don’t lurk on social media, but CF seems a little reserved, compared to prior seasons.

Likely some Iowa game ptsd; last time we were ranked and favored, while playing in Jack Trice, game got away from Iowa State pretty quickly.

He could end up having a good passing game but having to answer questions about feeling rattled and not being comfortable is not what you want to do as a starting QB. Of course practice is going to feel different. Lol

Yeah thinking in your mind about mechanics and what you should be doing isn’t what you want to be doing.
