I have heard a lot of hoks crap on the Pop Tarts Bowl, as a minor worthless bowl, without realizing the hypocrisy of them saying so being in the Music bowl.

Outside the playoff:
The Pop Tarts bowl is the B12 2nd place bowl / The Music City bowl is the B1G 4th place bowl.
The Pop Tarts pays significantly more than the Music City bowl

The Music city bowl effectively is the 7th place spot when including playoff, the Pop Tarts is 3rd when including.

So the Pop Tart bowl is significantly higher than the Music City bowl.


Are bowls the end all be all? Nope, but they sure as hell would be celebrating too if they won. And an 11 win season vs 8 win season and is something to celebrate, I believe we have heard that from them in the past when it was flipped.

They are a very very soft and threatened fanbase for sure.

Plus we beat Miami, who like us, was in the playoff hunt for a lot of the season.

TavernHawk Chris Hassell on the postgame reaction show saying these bowl games shouldn't count on team records, Iowa should be 8-4 and Iowa State should be 10-3.

Which fanbase is obsessed with the other one again? I can't recall our guys yammering on about Iowa on our post-game reaction show.

I'd love to see these two yahoos... Hassel and Downs that is... to say to Deonte Craig's face that this game was meaningless and just an exhibition.

Craig played is arse off and had like 2 sacks and 5 TFLs... and in the post game was crying. But to 2 moron Iowa fans on Iowa Everywhere.. it didn't mean a thing. Nice take guys!

Just started watching Instant Iowa reaction show with Hassel and Uber-douche Andrew Downs. Within the first 30 seconds Downs is talking about the Clones celebrating the Pop Tarts bowl win like it was a superbowl. Your own bow game, your own show, and the first thing you say is something about the Clones. What a pathetic little brother.

Downs is THE BIGGEST pile of crap there is. Such an arrogant punk.
