Injuries on Defense

I don’t think we saw Snyder last night, either. Hopefully we get him back soon, too. I don’t remember a time the team was this beaten up!

zero inside info but... My guess on Brezina was something like concussion protocol or an injury thats minor.

Watching the sidelines last night they were working on Brezina’s lower hamstring. Having him run and cut on sideline. He did come back in for around 1 play and then they shut him down. You could tell he wanted back in.

At one point during the game the camera panned over the sidelines past Bacon. I'm not 100% certain, but it looked like he was in pads. Wondering if we might get him back sooner than we expected.
I think they’ve been pretty clear that Bacon won’t be back.

McLaughlin is the “maybe”—and I’m still not remotely expecting him before December.

Probably was his brother, I don't think there's any chance of Caleb being healthy enough to dress.

CW mentioned in his postgame that Brezina was up jumping and celebrating on the sidelines with players after plays. Guessing he tweaked something since his appeared to be a non contact type injury

Looked like a non-contact leg injury as he pulled up lame/tripped & fell awkwardly as the Baylor QB ran upfield along the sideline on a scramble play with a fair amount to play in the 2nd quarter. Brezina came back for a play or 2 after but then was shut down for the night. Imming & Barnes played mostly the rest of the way with Barnes getting most of the 2nd half snaps.

Had that tackle/sack in the fourth quarter.
We went 4-man front & he obliterated the LT for the sack with a quick inside move. I've been thinking we may go more 4-man front given our injuries at LB, but not sure when we go 4-man if a LB leaves the field or if a DB does. Hard to question anything given our record and the performance by the defense.

We will be fine, just throw it downfield to Higgins
I'm going to assume you didn't notice this was a thread about the defense. In the off chance that you did notice, is your answer to the depleted defense roster to turn every game into a track meet and just run up the score more than the other team? You do realize the other teams actually try to defend, also, right?

Is there a comprehensive list of an injury report that anyone's got?

I know everyone who isn't in a coffin is day to day according to the press conferences, but at this point I can't keep track of who all has come back or may come back.

An NFL style injury report would be great but barring that, a list assembled by media for what had been observed/acknowledged by the football program would be helpful.

Bacon was on the bench right in front of me. Not only was he not in pads, he was on crutches.
Why would this be surprising to anyone? The kid is done for the year most likely.. with a slight chance of being back for a bowl game. Why would he be in pads??
